How it All Started

Hen House was formed in 2023 in Moorhead, MN and is the sister location to Red Hen Taphouse in Dilworth, MN. Whether you’re looking for an ice-cold beer from one of our 27 tap lines, dinner with the family, or a made-from-scratch brick-fired pizza with the buddies, we have something for everyone.

We first started with Red Hen Taphouse, located in Dilworth, MN, where we brought families and friends together to enjoy sports on TV, a cold beverage, and great food. We then decided to build onto that and create a sister-company, Hen House.

My son, daughter-in-law, & parents & I went on a Friday night. It was fairly busy, but we easily found a table. The food was GREAT! Four of us had burgers, & we liked that they were good-sized burgers but not so big we couldn't eat it all. And the portion of the fries was perfect ... Definitely recommend Hen House to others!!!
